When Doug P'gosh isn't busy designing the next great product for Retro-a-go-go! he's at his easel, painting. He returns repeatedly to classic horror and sci-fi themes of the movies. "Vincent" is Doug's homage to one of his (and yours!) favorite actors of the macabre. A screen villain from the 1940's all the way to Tim Burton's Edward Scissorhands in 1990. Vincent's unmistakable, silky smooth, yet menacing voice improved any role he played a part in. From b-movie schlock to pop music voice over, Vincent knew how to play sinister!
Doug painted the original art in vibrant colors, inspired by the old monster magazine cover artists of the 1960's and 70's, such as favorite, Basil Gogos. Doug let his creativity fly with limited, yet lurid colors, perfect for a putrid portrait of "Vincent".
